Spine with gilt lettering. Marbled endpapers, top edge gilt. Previous owner, A. Stanfield's name to front free endpaper and dated 1900. Some marginalia, markings and annotations throughout. There are clippings from a booksellers catalogue pasted to the front free endpaper, in pencil very faintly is written "From Rev. W Maskell" on the front free endpaper and "Rev. W. Maskell" is written in pencil on the title page. Some library markings, rubbing and wear, some minor discoloration ad foxing, else in good + condition. Book was wrapped in a ridiculous amount of bubble wrap so it would arrive safely. So awesome to have a book from the early 1800s on free trade.
