Some wear along the edges, but it actually makes the calf-leather look more dignified. Spine is very solid, and you can clearly see the title "Domestic Memoirs" on the binding. Hinges are in good shape. There is one inscription on inside cover. There is foxing to the pages, but this is a very displayable and very readable piece of history. See the photos.
