Including Volumes I and II, lacking Volume III. Written by eighteenth-century Scottish biographer James Boswell. Boswell's biography of Samuel Johnson is often claimed to be the greatest biography written in English, and the text played an important role in the development of the modern genre of biography. Whilst Boswell's personal acquaintance with his subject began rather later in 1763 when Johnson was fifty four years old, Boswell covered the entirety of Johnson's life by means of additional research. The shipping was lightning fast, arriving in 3 days from UK to US. The book was packaged with extreme care, very important for an antique book. The overall condition of the book is also unbelievable for its age, even better than described. I’ve purchased numerous other books from this seller, and the quality and price have always been outstanding. Great eBay seller. Thanks!

A+ Top Ebayer. The Book is an amazing piece of history. It is def authentic. Grades are a little generous in the listing at Near fine and good for a book that is 115 years old. Seller was fast to answer questions and it was shipped at ludicrous speed as I received it 2 days later. I would buy again and I encourage others to have the confidence to do so as well.
