I'm unable to learn a lot about this 200+ year-old book from the internet. It is part of a uniform set - I have another from this set which I'll be listing separately. I am unable to ascertain the author, the publisher is Parsons and Galignanni, and it was published in 1805. Google AI indicates that the publishers compiled biographical and critical essays on prominent English poets, primarily drawing from the renowned literary critic Samuel Johnson's work "Lives of the Most Eminent English Poets." In essence, it appears to be a condensation or, highlights from, Johnson's work. This book is in GOOD CONDITION. It has a leather spine and leather corners, with a paste-on label. The front board appears partially detached from the spine on the top half of the front board. Marble endpapers, green page edges, 312 clean and solidly bound pages. B61
