Jane Taylor (1783 - 1824) was an English poet and novelist. She wrote the words to the song Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star, which is widely known, but is generally forgotten who wrote it. The sisters Jane and Ann Taylor and their authorship of various works have often been confused, in part because their early ones were published together. Jane Taylor is credited by Robert Browning in an introductory note to a late poem, “Rephan”, which he states was “suggested by a very early recollection of a prose story” by her. Complete Set. This book far exceeded my expectations! It’s in the most pristine condition of any of the old books that I own. Robins Rare Books is amazing. Always a great value, very well packaged, quick shipping and always as described. I am a repeat customer and will always check listing from this seller first when I’m in the market for an antiquarian book.

This arrived safely and it was well packaged. This is exactly as described and it included a thank you on a postcard. This was well thought out and the seller knows how to handle and ship rare books. This was worth more than it was sold for, in my opinion, and I greatly appreciate doing business with this person.
