In fair condition. Later binding exhibits minor scuffing along tips and end bands. Hinges tender and lightly cracked. Cracking along surface of leather. Gilt decoration remains bright and clean. Purple front end papers soiled and water damage along edges. Pastedown afflicted with water damage at top edge. Text block lightly toned with minimal foxing. Areas of irregular toning present. Free of known markings. Binding shaken. Please see photos. A German work of theology centering around the “advancement of true Christianity and domestic worship”.
