Lovely original 1852 complete 2 volume set of Lord Cockburn's, "Life of Lord Jeffrey. With a Selection from his Correspondence." The books are overall in very good condition with just some minor signs of wear and age. The covers only have some light wear. The bindings are good and sound. All of the page edges are marbled. The interiors are lightly toned from age with some occasional light foxing. Along with that there may be the very occasional page with some kind of other minor imperfection, such as a tiny chip or tear, light wrinkle, creased page corner, minor stain or marking, light bit of soiling, etc. Generally though, it's a beautiful set. The books measure approximately 7 3/4 inches by 5 3/8 inches. Volume 1 is 343 pages long and Volume 2 is 368. Please look at all of the photos to further note the condition.

Packaged well. Shipped quickly. Item was just as described. I paid $6.50 for each piece of paper to be shipped to me (ordered two). So, it was $13 to ship two pieces of paper in an envelope. That is the only thing I was disappointed in.
