Written by the Rev. John Kelly. A presentation copy signed by the author and given to his wife, with an ink inscription to her on one of the front free-endpapers: 'E.A. Kelly, from her loving husband, The Author, Oct 1888'. Including an engraved frontispiece, an engraved vignette to the title page, and a further eight engravings throughout. Collated and complete. Rebound in full leather binding with refreshed endpapers. CONDITION Rebound in full leather binding with refreshed endpapers. Externally, some shelf wear to the boards and rubbing to the spine, joints, and extremities. Signed by the author to one of the front free-endpapers. Internally, hinges are tender. A few spots to the pages, which are otherwise bright and clean.
