This 118 year old dictionary is numbered up to 2,316 pages. This dictionary is described by the following sentence: “Designed to Give, in Complete and Accurate Statement, in the Light of the Most Recent Advances in Knowledge, and in the Readiest Form for Popular Use, the Orthography, Pronunciation, Meaning, and Etymology of All the Words and the Meaning of Idiomatic Phrases in the Speech and Literature of the English-Speaking Peoples.” This piece is incredible. There is clear damage to the spine but it is all held together. Light yellowing on pages, no signifcant rips but folds. This is 16 pounds 8 ounces and a massive book. This is a super rare one copy. Wear throughout the cover! See photos. The spine is missing a piece at the bottom and fraying but condition is fair. Smalls 34 All items are previously owned and used. Great transaction! Quick shipment and lithograph was just as described. Unfortunately, the mailing tube was damaged during shipment; however, thankfully the print was not damaged even though the mailer was dented badly during USPS shipment. Amazing seller. Packaging was phenomenal everything was taking great care for. They even added in an extra figure that wasn’t listed which was very cool and I am very appreciative of it.
