Authored by Henry Gannett. Overall in EXCELLENT CONDITION. The is light edge and corner wear, and wear where the boards meet the spine. Clear gilt spine titling with a bit of scratch-off of the spine leather. Marble endpapers and matching marble page edges. 145 pages with LOTS OF ILLUSTRATIONS AND A SINGLE LARGE FOLD-OUT MAP OF ALASKA (see listing photo). This foldout map has a small tear where the map is attached at the spine. An interesting discourse on how state boundaries were formed nationally. B71
