In the publisher's original slip case, with price intact. Lawrence's 'The Mint' is a memoir of his experiences as an enlisted man in the Royal Air Force; working from a notebook he kept while enlisted, Lawrence wrote of the daily lives of fellow servicemen and about his feelings towards the RAF. The book was published posthumously, edited by his brother Prof. A. W. Lawrence. Though noted as flawed by critics, this work is notable for its sharp observation and the insight it gives into Lawrence as a person, and for the censorship issues around its publication. The shipping was lightning fast, arriving in 3 days from UK to US. The book was packaged with extreme care, very important for an antique book. The overall condition of the book is also unbelievable for its age, even better than described. I’ve purchased numerous other books from this seller, and the quality and price have always been outstanding. Great eBay seller. Thanks!

A+ Top Ebayer. The Book is an amazing piece of history. It is def authentic. Grades are a little generous in the listing at Near fine and good for a book that is 115 years old. Seller was fast to answer questions and it was shipped at ludicrous speed as I received it 2 days later. I would buy again and I encourage others to have the confidence to do so as well.
