Description

1970’s Fisher Stereo Amp Receiver with Dolby Tape Deck. Body is in very good condition and there are No scratches, dents or oxidization on face plate. I am the second owner. Brought it out of storage to sell. After checking out functions I find the following issues need internal cleaning or repair to be back in perfect order: Volume button has static when turning. Radio Light needs new bulb. Tape deck: play and record buttons dont press down. Rew/ FF dosnt move tape. Play dosnt move tape. Eject dosnt open door, but door opens with a gentle pry. Cosmetic issues: Some very light scratches on top facing strip as shown in photos. One small scuff to top right corner of metal plate as photo’d. One small nick on top wood surface as shown in photo. All other buttons and functions work. And the unit looks excellent sitting in the room and nearly perfect esthetically. Rear vents show the inside is clean without dust issues. All flaws to unit listed here in description, and shown in photos.

This vintage 1970s Fisher Amp Receiver with Dolby Tape Deck is a solid find for collectors! The body is in excellent condition—no scratches, dents, or oxidation on the faceplate. As the second owner, I kept it stored safely. It powers on and functions, but needs some TLC: the volume knob has static, the radio light needs a new bulb, and the tape deck mechanisms (play, record, rewind, fast-forward, eject) require servicing. A great restoration project for a classic piece with serious potential!
