Full leather with included slipcase. In good condition, with light rubbing and wear to exterior of both slipcase and volume. Light superficial losses on spine. Hinges remain in good condition, with text block nicely bound. The personal copy of Varma, with his name inscribed on the front board in gilt. Smaller markings to front of text block. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Please see photographs and ask any questions prior to purchasing. Baidya Nath Varma (1921-2013) was an Indian-American sociologist and author. The shipping was fast and the book was extremely well packaged. The book itself is exactly as pictured and although rare books are expected to be expensive, I was able to get a small discount that at least covered the shipping. I'm happy with my purchase, so I can say that it was a good value. I love to find old relics that kind of come full circle to find their home. Welcome home to this little gem in the form of a small book. I will take very good care of you! I highly recommend this seller.
