This book was delivered before the promised date. It was packaged especially well. The book was listed as used. It appears to be new. There is absolutely no indication that it has been read. This was a book that I bought to prepare for an English competency test as requirement for my master's degree. I loaned the book several times. I eventually didn't get it back and always wanted a copy. This book costs less and is in better shape than the one I bought in the 80's
