Poor condition with a substantial amount of water damage. This damage extends from cover to cover, including some damage to the inside front and back covers, text block, and edging. Most importantly though, the signatures are intact and in good condition. This book, placed between others on a shelf adds a nice aesthetic to any library. Cover : The front and back cover are warped noticeably. The golden inlay is intact. The side of over or spine is not conisderably warped and would add a nice aesthetic to any bookshelf. Page Edging : The gold gilt edging has considerable warping. The top edge has a majority of the gilt worn off while the side and bottom maintain most of the gold gilt, but are warped. Head/Tailcaps : The headcap, tailcap and binding are secure. End Sheets/Inside Covers : The front and back endsheets has some staining but the damage is more in the form of warping/wrinkles. Textblock : The textblock has staining and warping/wrinkling throughout. Other : The page on which the signatures are on has some warping but the signatures themselves are in good condition.
