This dictionary was "Prepared by more than two hundred specialists and other scholars" was published in 1919 The text in double column, illustrations in text, and appendix containing language key, publisher's statement on faulty diction, and an interesting list of words of disputed orthography and orthoepy, with citations. The covers are leather with embossed designs with marbled endpapers and is thumb-indexed. The pages are tight and all pages are mostly intact. The cover boards are scuffed. Several pages at the beginning and the end are worn, cracked and broken off but the body of the text is not affected. Contains some handwritings. See pictures.
