Five volumes, 12mo., bound in tree leather, with applied spine labels in red and black, with gilt lettering. Two fold-out facsimile manuscript pages. Very good condition. Covers mildly rubbed at the edges, with lightly bumped corners, and worn surfaces. Some covers slightly loose at parts of their hinges. Some chipping at the bottom of the spines. Text blocks clean, with lightly toned paper. Volumes have "Hayes" book-plates attached to front paste-downs or ffeps. Several blanks have signatures inked in period hands. Volume 2 has a stamp from the Brackett Memorial Church Library, Peaks Island, Maine, but there are no other library intrusions.
