Description
This is a Fine, signed, first edition of “ Genes, Girls, and Gamow: After the Double Helix,” by molecular biologist James Watson published by the Easton Press, with special contents copyrighted by same in 2001. Fine examples of the publisher’s notes and COA are laid in loosely. (#826/1,175). At 259 pages long plus numerous pages of “George Gamow Memorabilia”--that is, images of notebook pages--it is a very sharp, desirable copy, bound in beautiful blue, gold-gilt leather. Unmarked by human hands inside and out, the book is--as usual with Easton-- all edges gilt, with its ribbon marker in fine shape in this surely unread volume with very tight hinges. There are only a couple of the lightest of marks on the edges, so light they do not show well in the photos (sorry!) And, before you ask, no, there are no names nor bookplates, used or not. Overall, this is a beautiful, unread example! We will combine shipping if at all possible--and we will wrap them as if we were shipping them to ourselves! And, yes, returns are allowed if the book does not arrive as described. Questions are more than welcome!

This seller is superb! Great, fast shipping, and packed with great care. I have never received any eBay purchase that was packaged as well as this purchase. This seller cares about his buyers. Product was better than described, and was a great value at the auction price. Absolutely top A+ seller.

Excellent packaging and fast shipping. The book was received as described and is in perfect condition—a great value from a highly approved seller. Thank you to the seller who discounted shipping when another book was purchased to be shipped together.

Terrific communication and a pleasure to work with. Book was packed with great care and shipped promptly. Item was exactly as described if not even better than expected. Wonderful seller and outstanding effort. Well Done!
