The cover is crafted from a unique and beautiful Dark purple goatskin leather sourced from Tuscany, Italy. The gorgeous goatskin has an amazing grain. It has a classy and protective full yap. The liner is made from a smooth grain, classic black calfskin leather, also sourced from Tuscany, Italy. These leathers look and feel amazing together and will hold their shape very well. They have been hand stitched around the perimeter with a black waxed thread. Other premium upgrades include three double sided satin ribbons- two purple and one black. I’ve applied a unique violet art gilding to the pages. The gorgeous violet under gold creates a beautiful frame for the Word. I’ve also installed new, linen textured, purple end sheets to the front and back. The spine is Smyth sewn and has now been further reinforced by wrapping it in a fine, thin sheepskin.
