The spine is ribbed and the page edges have a gold gilt. The spine, boards, and page edges are decorated with 22k gold gilt. There is a a satin page ribbon/marker and decorated end-papers. The pages are clean. There are a few light marks on the gilded page edges. Also included with this listing is the introductory pamphlet (written by Edmund S. Muskie) and an unused bookplate specific to the "The Library of the Presidents" collection. The pamphlet has a previous owner's initials written in red ink on the top left corner of the front page. From a smoke-free home. See pictures I will package the book well, using bubble wrap in a box to ensure they arrive the same way they look now.
