I PLUGGED IT IN AND I DID NOT SEE ANY SIGNS OF LIGHTS IN ANY TUBES AT ALL. THATS ALL I CAN TELL ABOUT THIS UNIT. I DID NOTICE THAT THERE IS A KILL "SWITCH" OR A "ON & OFF SWITCH" ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE UNIT NEAR THE VOLUME KNOB, I DO NOT KNOW WHAT IT’S PURPOSE IS, SOMEBODY MADE THAT SWITCH BECAUSE I HAD ONE AND SOLD IT AND IT DID NOT HAVE THAT SWITCH ON THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE UNIT. ONCE AGAIN I DO NOT HAVE ANY CLUE WHY SOMEBODY MADE THE SWITCH OR IT'S PURPOSE. ALSO IT'S MISSING TWO TUBES and I DO NOT KNOW IF THE REST OF THE TUBES ARE GOOD OR NOT. THE "LOW FILTER" SWITCH IS BROKEN. FIVE GOLD CAPS ARE MISSING FROM THE SWITCHES AS PICTURED. THE INTERIOR IS VERY DUSTY AS PICTURED. THIS RECEIVER DOES NOT HAVE A LID/TOP OR CABINET. NO CABINET . THE CONDITION THAT IS PICTURED IS THE CONDITION THAT YOU WILL RECEIVE THIS ITEM IN. TO BE SAFE WHEN I WILL SHIP THIS UNIT I WILL REMOVE ALL THE TUBES AND I WILL PACK AND SHIP THE TUBES IN A SEPARATE BOX FOR FREE TROUGH USPS. NOT WITH THE STEREO. Buying a vintage machine online is always a little scary since you can't try it out before buying but the machine is in great working order as described by the seller.
