This high-end dual cassette deck is loaded with features. Its 16VAC operating sytem was designed for use with the Fisher RS-881 receiver/amplifier system, according to its label. (That unit also had an accessory 16VAC record turntable.) It takes 16VAC through the special plug shown in last photo..... power was supplied through a socket on the receiver. It would work with any appropriate power supply (16VAC), not just that in the original system...... but I don't have any to test it with. (I suspect that any 18-20VAC or so would also work, based on my limited experience with other electronics when supplied with moderate overvoltages..... but hey, I am a CHEMIST, and not an electronics expert at all, so take this as an OPINIO N, not expert advice.) So offering it strictly AS-IS, and OH-MY-CHEAP! It has RCA stereo sockets on back for audio input and output, for dubbing from other media to tapes, or playing from tapes. Also can dub from tape to tape..... if it is all working that is. Simple Guarantee : If not right, I will make it right. But only if you let ME know right away. See details below.
