The face plate has scratches and nicks. Some letters are erased. I think it works, but I'm selling it "AS-IS" condition due to age. Tape machine in excellent condition as advertised. Prompt shipping. This was a very heavy unit and seller had it incredibly well packaged. Wrapped in foam in inner box, surrounded by more foam in second outer box. Kudos for such a superb job.
