Item is in good cosmetic condition.Unit has visible scuffs and scratches on the front side mainly and couple of punctiforme impressions on the top side metal panel.Small amount of dust is present.Battery compartment is clean, and unit will operate with them.Batteries are not included.Battery cover closes properly.Sponge will likely need replacement.Antenna is very good, bent gently.It opens and retracts as should.It can hold in most positions, not all.All switches and knobs are operating fine mechanically.Tape compartment opens softly and properly closes.Tuning is good and reception is proper.FM is tested only and unit tune to stations as should.Sound is good and switching options are functional.Volume regulation is good.Balance is working.Tape transport is not functional.Sound of a motor is heard once commands are issued.Recordings were not tested.Those are all testings performed with a unit.It is offered AS described for a complete professional restoration.
