Description
Franklin Library leather edition of Anthony Burgess' "Little Wilson & Big God," Illustrated by Ronald DeFelice, one of the SIGNED FIRST EDITION society series, PERSONALLY SIGNED by Anthony Burgess, published in 1987. Bound in dark green leather, the book has decorative paper end leaves, acid-free paper, Symth-sewn binding, a satin book marker, hubbed spine, gold gilding on three edges---in FINE condition. Anthony Burgess, who lived from 1917 -1993, was diagnosed with a terminal illness and sentenced to one year to live, but 28 years later, he was still alive. The author of "A Clockwork Orange," Burgess in "Little Wilson & Big God" recreates his life from his birth during World War I to the wrongful prognosis of his death at age 42. Burgess was born in MANCHESTER, ENGLAND, to a dancehall girl mother and an alcoholic musician father. A neglected child, he was raised in a lower-middle class world of shopkeepers and was sent to parochial school where he read and began a long infatuation with poetry. Burgess is reviewing his life as a man can do only when he's reach 70. I offer Combined shipping.

Quite the surprised, at first I thought I ordered something from a pet shop because of the box turns out to be my order xD. My books were well packaged no noticeable box damage internally and externally. They were as described in the listing and shipped promptly in a 2 weeks window. Would recommend seller.
