Volumes I & II (complete), published respectively in 1852 and 1851 by Henry Colburn, London. Hardcovers in 3/4 leather binding over sturdy buckram, with marbled endpapers, top edge gilt, banded spines, gilt spine titles, top edges gilt. Tissue guarded frontispieces in both. Good to very good condition. The leather is rubbed and scuffed in places, but there's very little, if any, shedding and the leather was treated with a preservative oil.
