To which are prefixed a history of the language, and an English grammar. By Samuel Johnson, L.L.D. In two volumes. First American, from the eleventh London edition. To which are added, Walker's principles of English pronunciations. Philadelphia, printed and published by James Maxwell, 1819. Used, 200+ years old. Pretty good condition for age. Bindings seem to be strong and in tact. Noticeable wear, moisture staining, some stiff/warped pages. Leather has cracks, chipping, and scuffs/marks. Foxing throughout. All pages and words are legible, with some light fading in areas. 24 photos provided to show condition.     Really fair asking price for original top brand item listed as for repair or parts. Seller carefully packed it up so arrived with no further damage and sent it along clean. Communication traded was without delays, as was how promptly seller shipped it out. I'm satisfied that got one of the best deals around on this type of item which I knew I could repair based on the seller's very clear listing photographs.

Unfortunately, the item didn't work when I received, but the matter was settled promptly with prompt open communication. I believe the item worked when shipped, but it failed upon receipt.     My pencils were packed like a top art supply store. They were protected with layers of bubble wrap and in a sold appropriate sized box.They were shipped quickly and arrived in new and perfect condition. This seller was fair in the asking price as well and exactly as described. I wouldn't hesitate purchasing from this seller again.
