The Letters of Junius in Two Volumes. Published 1829-30, Boston by J. Reed. 2 Volumes, pp. 216, 215. Text in English. Engraved portrait and half title in each volume (by D.C. Johnson) Period 1/2 leather binding, smooth spines, gilt bands and compartment decorations, marbled covers. Bindings well age worn- All joints cracked, front covers held only by binding cords, leather dried, scuffed and chipped, spine leather mostly perished or chipped, but otherwise text blocks remains clean, tight, and sound. Book remains attractive and display a pleasing and unique age patina. Please review photos for more detail and our best attempt to convey how this antique set survives.
