The book has a three-quarter leather cover with raised bands, gold gilt decoration on the spine cover, and marblized boards. The cover is in good condition but does have light wear and soiling. The spine cover is tight binding is good. The pages are good but have yellowed slightly and have a little foxing. There is a light dampstain to the lower right corner of pages 303 to 363. There are many black and white illustrations. The endpapers are marblized. All three page edges is gold gilt. Book is approx. 7.25 x 11 inches and has 411 pages.
