Another wonderful feature of this leather is the oils used in processing this hide give it almost a self healing quality. Scratches and scuffs buff away with a little rubbing. This leather feels awesome and will develop an amazing patina over time. The liner is made from super supple, classic black calfskin. These leathers look and feel amazing together and will hold shape very well. The cover has been hand stitched around the perimeter- Twice. Yep, double stitched- possibly overkill but it looks nice and this protective cover has the most important job- protecting this edition of God’s word- for life. There are five hand tooled raised hubs on the spine and a classy and protective full yap. Other premium upgrades include three double sided satin ribbons- one black , one kingdom gold and one burgundy. I’ve also installed new, linen textured black end sheets to the front and back.
