There is a trace of wear from movement within the box and the gold gilt lettering is fading slightly from age, but it looks like a new and unused bible with no name or writing, no torn or dog eared pages. The gold gilt to the page edges is fine. The box has some light wear from storage. I would not hesitate to give it as a gift while mentioning it is an unread bible with slight storage wear to the box. I would also be happy to receive it as a gift.
