Very Good condition quarter-bound leather hardcover 4 volume set of Portraits of the Seventeenth Century Historic and Literary, and Portraits of the Eighteenth Century Historic and Literary by C. A. Sainte-Beauve. Published 1905 by G. P. Putnam's Sons, NY. Printed by The Knickerbocker Press, NY. Books are quarter-bound in dark green leather and light green cloth, with gold foil lettering to banded spine, and gilt head fore edges. Bindings are sound and pages are unmarked. Boards are clean and square with minor sunning to spine, minor curling to corners, minor scuffing to spine ends and hinges and occasionally on covers, and minor shelf wear. I can't recommend this seller highly enough. Everything was excellent, from the items' condition, to communication, to packaging.
