Description

RARE_Leatherbound_Palace Guard_Dan Rather / Gary Gates_1974_Hardcover_VeryGood First Edition published in 1974 by Harper & Row Publishers, this 9-1/2" x 6" black highly-figured leather-bound volume is in very good condition, gold gilt title and authors in red panel on spine. If only one counts as "rare", this book is rare. I'm pretty sure this book has been privately rebound in leather, I can't find another one like it anywhere on the internet. Book has no writing or marks inside, text-block solid, hinges tight, cover corners lightly bumped but still sharp. Please see pics for condition details. A unique copy of an almost 50-year old book that will be well-packaged and promptly shipped with USPS Media Mail.

This stunning leatherbound edition of *The Palace Guard* is a true collector's gem! The rich black leather with gold gilt detailing looks elegant, and the binding is solid with no flaws. The condition is fantastic—no markings, tight hinges, and crisp pages. Its rarity makes it a standout piece, possibly a custom rebind. A must-have for Dan Rather fans or vintage book lovers!
