The cover looks like leather, especially examining the worn areas, but I am not an expert on Bible covers. I guess it could be imitation leather; probably not bonded leather (too old for that newer technology). The cover is a bit worn. Please see the photos. General scuffing and around the edges & corners. There is wear and small cracks at the top and bottom of the spine. The binding is good. There are notations on the first couple pages and three pages at the back. Marks are observed on 27 pages of the Bible text. The gold-gilt finish on the page edges is a bit scuffed and scratched.

This book arrived ahead of schedule, and in perfect condition. The wrapping was very secure and even took additional care in case of bad weather. Wrapped in paper, then sealed inside a bag, and then inside a secure bubble mailer. Photos show the book exactly as described. Definately worth every penny. Thank you very much for taking such great care of this beautiful book.

This was the best used book purchase experience I’ve ever had. Shipping and communication were great. Packaging was phenomenal. The books were not only wrapped in paper, but then wrapped in plastic, and packaged in a box with styrofoam. I hope I find more books to buy from this seller!
