Description You are looking at a Sears Audio By Fisher 4 / 2 Channel Stereo Receiver Model 143.97640400. This receiver does 2 channel stereo as well as 4 channel quadraphonic sound. The receiver is in good overall cosmetic shape. The function, volume, and speaker knobs are missing but the actual controls still work. Some of the front panel writing is worn off as pictured. Backlighting for the tuner is working. This receiver was powered on and I connected 2 speakers to it. I tested it in 2 channel stereo mode using the FM tuner. It worked but the volume and balance knobs sounded scratchy, probably need a cleaning. This was all the testing that was done, I did not test the 4 channel quadraphonic mode as I do not have any devices to send a quadraphonic signal. This receiver is being sold as is due to its age. It was packaged well .but the shipping company left it on stairs so it sat out in a thunder storm and the box became a fish bowl I then threw it in trash
