Every year, more of these irreplaceable treasures are lost-- to fires, floods, etc., or simple carelessness. It is my hope to rescue as many as possible and help them find homes where they will be cherished and passed on to future generations. All of my antique leather books are treated with Cellugel (which is safe for all book materials) to preserve the leather and inhibit deterioration from red rot. The leather has pre-existing scars and wear. All leather books ship carefully packed in a box. No writing, tears or odors. Some pages are uncut; see photos.
