This is "The Life of Dr. Benjamin Franklin, Written by Himself", in an 1824 edition published by Clayton & Van Norden, printers at 64 Pine Street, New York City. This edition features Franklin's autobiography, with a charming frontispiece engraving of Franklin and his kite. This pocket-sized volume is bound in full leather, with the original title spine paste-down, and gilt spine decorations. Condition of this book is Very Good Minus, showing a previous owner's name on the RFEP, wear to the corners, rubbing to the boards, mild foxing throughout and water staining of the first 40 pages.
