Description Fisher Model 400 Stereo Multiplex Receiver. The receiver works and sounds great. It looks very nice but could use some general cleaning. You may want to refinish the cabinet as it has some staining and a few nicks and scratches as well as a small hole in one side as shown in the images. The unit sounds very good. The 7868 output tubes are all branded as Fisher. Many of the 12AX7 preamp and tuner tubes are also branded as Fisher. The capacitors look to be all original so you will likely want to replace them for the sake of reliability, longevity and even better sound. The eye tube looks nice and bright. McIntosh 1500 receiver (tube receiver) are quite expensive, and not easy to ship safely. It often makes buying gear online a risky move. However, after looking at the seller feedback and messaging them its was clear this individual had extensive experience. I made the decision to buy te piece ive wanted for years, and it was TRIPPLE boxed. More importantly, it was put in the FIRST box correctly so the dial glass diddnt break, and no weight on the knobs. 5 ☆☆☆☆☆ transaction! 100%

Listing said it would take a week to pack and ship after payment was received and now I can see why. Packing was extremely well done. Tubes were individually wrapped. Top cover was wrapped and packed in such a way as to not scratch the chassis during transport. Entire bundle was double boxed and padded. Pictures shown in the listing represented the amp accurately. Amp works and plays music as described. Super seller!
