Chambers Biographical Dictionary edited by J. O. Thorne and T. C. Collocott W. & R. Chambers, revised edition This volume is bound in tan morocco goatskin with a gold and blind-stamped design by Jeff Clements. It features marbled endpapers, a gilded top edge, and a white ribbon marker. From the research I have done, The Folio Society featured this book in its 1976 Special Publications catalog. This is a 1978 reprint, which has a few cover differences from the 1976 version. The inside cover pages are NOT marked Folio in any way. I have read that the 1976 volume had Folio papers, and later issues had the Chambers imprint on the title page. There is a small stain on the back of the spine, and a little wear on the front edge of the spine. The slipcover is missing. There are a few loose pages on the inside of the volume. The gilted top edge shows some signs of wear.
