Condition Continued: A piece of the letter off the bottom edge of the spine is gone. The spine looks straight. The binding of the pages seems pretty solid. I didn't see any cracks or spaces between any of the facing pages. There is a frontispiece drawing at the start of each of the two volumes. One is of the Earl of Chatham, the other of John Horne Todke. There is another drawing on each of the first title pages, the first of Sir William Draper and the second of Lord North. Each title page seems also to have a second title page, neither seems to be half-title page. On these second title pages 1830 is given as the date. The pages are decent condition. I would describe the foxing as fairly light, although that's subjective. I only found a few corner creases. There are no markings. No attachments other than the label of Mr. Brown. No writing other than what I have already referenced. Due to the condition issues I have considerably discounted the price of the book. It would probably best find a home with someone who had some book repair skills. N. H. Whitaker, Boston, 1829 or 1830. Written by Sir Philip Francis. Two Volumes in One, both are dated 1829 on the 'first title page', but 1830 on the 'second title pages'.

Very happy with this purchase and seller, not least for the condition of the book and the robust packaging. One relatively minor quibble - not the fault or responsibility of the seller - is with DHL and their Australian affiliate, Aramex, the former whom seemingly sent this item around most of America before finally dispatching the item to Australia. Aramex were also tardy not least in updating the tracking advice in a timely manner. However, alls well that ends well. Cheers.

This is definitely a 5 star seller! Book was reasonably priced, in much better condition that what I anticipated based on description, and was quickly shipped, also at a very reasonable price. Communication was friendly, agreeable, professional. Book was packed with extra care & arrived as pictured. I'm sure I'll be back again to buy more books at this store.
