Bagan first appeared as the final boss in the Super Godzilla game for the Super Famicom released in 1993, and later appeared in the poster production corner of the CD-ROM software Godzilla Movie Studio Tour released in 1996. Before his first appearance, Bagan was also called the "phantom monster" because plans had been made for him to appear in new movies but he never made it to the public. His distinctive head, wide spread wings, and muscle fiber-like structure in each part have been beautifully reproduced by Hideyuki Kobayashi of Atelier Koganemushi, who directed Godzilla Ban and was also in charge of sculpting Bagan's puppet for filming. You can enjoy the power that is just as impressive as the puppet for filming, and the various impressions that change depending on the viewing angle.
