Fisher Omnidirectional Speakers Model WS-80 (the larger/better model). WS stands for Fisher's foray into Wide Surround working to design a speaker that changed traditional bookshelf speaker placement into a room-integrated item. Some used these for side-tables on each side of the couch, placing lamps on top. Condition notes: These are in super cosmetic condition with only very minor blemishes on the REAL WALNUT VENEER cabinets. BOTH speakers have the original Fisher "badges" on them (often these are missing). The speaker/drivers may need some restoration of the drivers or crossovers internally. These WS-80 speakers are ORIGINAL. This is the perfect project for the Fisher vintage audio collector. The speakers themselves are UNTESTED. These speaker designs came from the mind of Avery Fisher BEFORE the sell-out to Sanyo. Please examine the pictures, they are part of the description. Yes, shipping is expensive. But you want these to arrive in good condition, and they will be packed properly. Each speaker weights 25 pounds. Each speaker is 17.5"d x 11"w x 18.5"h. I will pack them in a FedEx 24"x24"x24" Double-Wall box, with solid styrofoam packing to protect them in transit. The total weight will be over 60lbs. Shipping will exceed $100 to the lower 48 states for that size and weight. I'm going to charge $99 for shipping, flat rate. Anything over that amount I will eat out of the sale proceeds after eBay takes their double-digit percentage. (I've a lot of experience in shipping and pricing shipping - but feel free to check me by doing your own pricing with your FedEx local office.)
