The item was new in box, but the seller was unaware that the connection required a cd with a driver to install on a PC - I do not have a computer with a CD-ROM. The seller was very quick to respond to my inquiry for return, and promptly refunded my money and did not ask for the item to be shipped back. Even though I cannot use the mouse, I was very pleased with the communication and professionalism of the seller. THANK YOU SO MUCH!
