This item is a Vintage Holy Bible pressed by The Thomas Nelson Publishing Co. titled: Holy Bible - A Reader’s Guide To The Holy Bible - Reference Edition - King James Version - Words Of Christ In Red - Thomas Nelson, Inc. 1972 - Printed In The United States Of America - Concordance Included - Genuine Bonded Leather This Vintage Holy Bible measures 7 x 5 Inches and is Bound with Genuine Leather & Gold Trim Page Edges. The smaller size allows it to be carried with ease to any occasion or for outdoor use. Maps & a Concordance Section is included and this King James Version includes both Old & New Testaments. The Center of Each Page includes references to additional passages and other notes to help a reader to expand their knowledge and understanding of how the Bible works in everyday life. An additional section titled, “A Harmony Of The Four Gospels” is also included. This Vintage Leather Bound Holy Bible was used but not abused and it’s remarkable preservation will allow it to be used & enjoyed for years to come. The Pages & Binding is of High Quality & this one was likely somewhat expensive for 1972 Standards. For Ebay Standards, we assign a Condition Grade of Very Good for this Vintage Holy Bible. The Bible is Complete and while no visible tears can be seen on any of the pages, several pages show a crease from time to time and this appears to be simply from being used over an extended period of time and not for any use of dog-ears with most of this being found among the later sections. One area has been highlighted and this is found only on the first page of Genesis and has the appearance that the original owner at first decided to highlight all that was being read before suddenly realizing that maybe this was not a good idea. Highlighting also appears in St. Matthew, Psalms, & Luke Otherwise, only a notation here & there can be seen but this is not extensive and most all is small and easy to ignore. Drop stains can also be seen along the same section where highlights can be seen in Psalms and this appears to be tear drop stains from the original owner on what was likely a very emotional day. The Leather Bound Cover has protected the inside very well and while handling wear can be seen, it does appear to have been handling wear care and is without any real damage. The presentation page has been filled in along with one notation in the deaths section. Yes, this Vintage Bible has been Loved and Used but not abused and can still be used and enjoyed for Years to come for anyone who would like to own this Vintage Holy Bible!
